Yaminette Diaz-Linhart

Designee, MA Chapter of the National Association for Social Workers

Yaminette is a Public Health Social Worker and works as a Program Director in Pediatrics at Boston Medical Center. The goal of her work is to bridge the gap between mental health practice, research and policy. She has worked primarily with women and mothers with high rates of depression and anxiety through direct service, research, intervention development and policy initiatives through the Ellen Story Commission in Postpartum Depression. Of note, her work has focused on improving child and family outcomes through mental health promotion and depression prevention for parents. Yaminette has been a member of NASW-MA since 2010 and holds a Master of Social Work  and a Master of Public Health from Boston University School of Social Work and School of Public Health. Yaminette is committed to developing policy level strategies that help promote mental health for families through the life course.
